Comment: I have been coming here once a week for about 1 year now and this is THE BEST wash and fold service you can find in the greater Houston area. The price is very very reasonable and the couple who run it could not be kinder. They (and their staff) are so quick (1 day turn around) and they are really hard workers. My clothes are always so fresh and are folded so nicely and with such care each time. It’s lovely. Let’s go back to how kind they are. The laundry detergent I use is from a bulk-eco friendly store where you have to bring your own container to collect the laundry detergent - I use an old shampoo bottle. To use this detergent, you also have to pour a certain/special amount into the laundry machine (1 pump for small and 2 pumps for big). Instead of being (rightfully) annoyed at this special ask, this team could not be sweeter and more happy to use my special laundry detergent. They have told me that they think it’s fun that I bring in my own special soap for them to use - and I believe them. When I have called to see if they were still open I’ve realized that sometimes when they say yes, they wait until I come to pick my my laundry and then immediately close up (which means they cared enough to wait for me to get what I needed). If you are looking for a great wash and gold service, want to support a stellar small business or are even looking for a sense of community and care in such a big city - come here.

Comment: Great staff. Great machines. If you have any kind of issue the staff is super helpful and will assist/refund. Standard wash in front loader single wash is 2.50. Wash with soak cycle is 2.75 front loader. The industrial front loader is 5.25. Washers take 27 minutes to run. Dryers are hot and 25 cents gets you 7 minutes.

Comment: You never know what you will see on Westheimer! The laundry was fast, efficient, and got my clothes sparkly clean! Usually has machines available. A safe place and there are interesting shops close by to visit while you are there. Going to try and post a couple of videos from my last adventure at this facility. They were taken from just inside the door through the window, like I said interesting neighborhood! I hope they post properly

Comment: Nicest owners ever! This place is next to a very popular restaurant. The owner saw my husband and I unloading our car because we couldn’t find parking, and he insisted he move his car and we park in his spot. While they were moving the vehicles, I was pushing the cart of clothes inside and the other owner came out and helped me bring it inside. 100 stars for great service.

Comment: Absolutely glad I stopped into this Montrose area washateria. My dryer broke down and I had to find somewhere to dry my clothes before they became sour and this was actually the third stop since most of the other places wouldnt allow me to dry only.The couple that runs the place was so genuinely kind and helpful. The husband/male attendant even asked me what I was drying and gave me honest advice about how many quarters to put in each dryer. Lets just say I wouldve put in a lot more and he said I didnt need to and the 50¢ was enough...and it was perfect!Anyway, the place was extremely clean and well kept and even though they were about to close, they understood my dilemma and allowed me to use their dryers.I highly recommend D & S Laundromat if youre looking for a washateria in the Montrose, Museum, Midtown area. They are welcoming, nice, honest, hardworking and very appreciative folks.
