Comment: This washateria washed, dried, and folded 210lbs of my clothes. He was very professional and got the job done. We dropped all our clothes off in trashbags and we got the back neatly folded and even somewhat separated! It was also for the best price I have seen! If you need someone to get the job done for you, trust Gee’s Washateria! The best out there, I mean he treated my clothes with so much care and got it done in a timely manner as well.

Comment: I have been coming here for a few years, and I wont go anywhere else if I can help it. The machines are clean, hardly any are out of order, and the owner is really nice. I had to go to another laundromat after hurricane Harvey, because Gees was inaccessible due to flooding. It had several machines out of order, and most of them had dirty detergent dispensers. I wont go anywhere else but Gees!

I moved to IL for two years. Upon returning there was a facility within a block of where I live. I deliberately drive to Gees because its always a positive experience.

Comment: As far as washeteria go these guys are great. Wi-Fi, air conditioning, various sized machines and great service. I used them when I was living a block over and had stopped for a year after having in unit laundry. I moved into an apartment without in unit and came back despite being much further away and found they kept upgrading and got air conditioning! They are always quick to fix and upgrade as needed!

When I come here it is always well maintained & the guy thats normally here has always been helpful.Today, Monday 9/26/16, there was a diff guy working, & i must say that he was rather impolite. I was inserting my coins in the washer while watching the debate on tv & he comes up to me & says if he wants me to have him insert all the coins bc obviously I was moving to slow for him. I simply denied his offer, but deep down i wanted to say how rude he came off by saying, We close at 10pm, & youre taking your time. Mind you, it is 9pm, but you have people still walking in those doors to wash as well & I have only 2 loads & Im being rushed! The second time we spoke, I simply asked if he knew who was using the dryers by where I was washing so I could have them take their clothes out bc they used the entire side of dryers & I just wanted to dry on that side bc I wanted to stay close to where my son was sitting at. Rudely, he says, Just use another machine, youre taking a long time & I have to close. I mean whoever was drying had their clothes done & just sitting their for a while, & I didnt see him rushing them to get it out. Now, I understand this guy wants to go home, but its just like any other job, you leave when your customers leave. If Im a customer there, wouldnt you want to be as polite as you can to someone that wastes good money weekly at their washateria? Previously I have gone to this washateria at 9pm & Im aware that closing time is 10pm but the other guy has NEVER made me feel rushed or uncomfortable & gives me time to finish my laundry even if its a bit past 10pm. 1 of the reasons I like this place is because they stay open late unlike other places that close earlier. Tonight was just one of those nights where I didnt like the experience & if I ever see that guy working while Im trying to wash, I will simply walk back out & go to another washateria. Still, I give this review 4 stars because its a neat place, I just would hire a more friendly like person next time to fill in for a shift.
