Comment: In a world where customer service has all but disappeared, this place is one of a kind. I had a problem with one of my shirts, and Mike Reid, the owner, personally took care of it. He spoke with my tailor and got me a new shirt free of charge without fuss or issues. It was the best customer service Ive experienced for as long as I can remember. I strongly recommend this local Austin spot if you want a personal touch, great service and of course, great cleaning.

Comment: I own a restaurant and spend a lot of time thinking about hospitality. This dry cleaner might offer the best hospitality of any business in Austin. I don’t come frequently and they always know my name, always ask about my husband by name, and make me feel appreciated. I would not go anywhere else for dry cleaning.

I have other dry cleaning options nearer to me but will drive the extra distance just to go here and support them.Ive never had a problem with my clothes - theyre consistent and reliable.HIGHLY recommend going here. Comment: Fast and friendly. They are open promptly at 6:30 in the morning (never late) and they always greet me with a smile, even though its so early. They are very fast and will ask you if you want your dry-cleaning ready in a few days. If you say no, they will offer same day service for NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE (provided you show up before a certain cutoff time, of course). I was so surprised they wouldnt charge extra for this.

I was stressed but was super calm after giving it to them. Got it the next day and was all set. Highly recommend! The staff is friendly too!

Comment: The employees here are super nice and friendly. The location is really convenient because this was on my way home from work when I used to work in an office. They generally do a good job but I have received a couple of garments back that still had stains which was disappointing. Generally, I do highly recommend them because they stick to the timeline they promise and they always greeted me by my name when I came in!

Comment: This is the best dry cleaner I have ever been to. Prices are expensive but in great location for west campus. Every time I walk in, they know my name and have the best customer service I’ve ever witnessed (I worked at the ymca for 3 years). My clothes are practically given to me before I make it to the register and they always ask how I’m doing. Seems like all the workers are in the same family from how well they work together and understand what they do. Definitely recommend Reid’s as for dry cleaning and washing, and will be sad to leave the elite tailored experience after college. :(

Comment: Edit: was fixed the day after in the morning by the extremely nice person working the front. I would, however, make sure you check between your items even if you have a lot of them.First time customer, they hand me my dry cleaning, and they have to ask me if one of the articles is mine. I say yes because its pretty close to what I brought in (dark khaki chinos) and its andwiched between two other pairs of pants and its tied together and bagged.Of course its not the right chinos, and now not only did I pay 90$ for 12 articles to be dry-cleaned, but Im out 100$ chinos.

Comment: One of my shirts, which they pointed out to me had a 6 inch tear along the sleeve. I was asked to call the manager to decide on what they can do to fix the situation. It was a casual shirt, but not cheap. I asked if they could fix the tear and wed go from there. I have to say they did an amazing job. It simply looks like a natural fold. Plus, they gave me a store credit for future dry cleaning. They handled this extremely professionally and Mike Reid was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this place.

Comment: On the totem pole of businesses to which the word glamour can be attached, dry cleaning and laundry will rank near the bottom. But if you choose a professional service and a pleasant atmosphere where, after a short time, you will be greeted by name, Reids at Lamar and 24th St is right at the top. Nothing is too much trouble for Rosa, Jacob and the team: need a cleaning rush? Theyll do it for you. Need your pants or shirts ironed in a specific way? Theyll do that too. Want you dry cleaning and laundry picked up and delivered? No problem. And if theres an occasional issue with which youre not pleased, they will fix it. Give them a try - youll be glad you did. And finally, and just for the record, no one asked me to write this review - they deserve it.

Comment: Best cleaners Ive been to since I moved to Austin. They are a tad more expensive than other places but as the saying goes you get what you pay for. Gone other places and suits dont come back as clean or as pressed as with Reids. Also if something does come out right they go above and beyond to remedy the situation. Staff is very friendly and and they remember you every time you come in. Highly recommend.

Comment: We were passing through Austin, TX two days after Christmas and we stopped to take pictures at Graffiti Park where my daughter got paint on the sleeve of her new white Patagonia fleece jacket! We stopped at Reid Dry Cleaners to see if they could do anything in a hurry to help, or at least recommend what we could use to get the paint out. They took the jacket in the back and within 15 min they completely removed the paint! They also refused to take payment. I would highly recommend them based on the customer service we received!!

Comment: On September 16th I stopped by Reids Cleaners on N Lamar Boulevard in Austin, TX. The lady who collected the items to be pressed was very friendly. She informed a gentleman working there about my request for cleaning services. He promptly took the clothing to the cleaning area and in no time att all the clothing was ready! He provided exceptional customer service!!! I was very impressed with his friendly, courteous and helpful demeanor. Reids Cleaners has earned my business!!

Comment: I have been going to Reids since moving to Austin about a year and a half ago and have always been happy with them. The service is great - freindly and fast - and they have always done a great job on my clothes. I tried Anthonys (west lynn) and Eco-Clean (guadalupe) but I found the service at Anthonys to be slow and surly and my clothes were still dirty after getting them from Eco-Clean. I only go to Reids now.
