Comment: I was in a pinch I normally drop off my laundry at a different facility but this time I had to do my own on thanksgiving all that to say I want to give a huge shout out to the lady with long hair at the se military facility she was professional beyond helpful when my clothes got Stuck in the washer and my card went under she was patient and attended the facility with a great attitude. Kuddos to her thank you so much for working that day you made it so much easier.

Comment: The place is very clean for a laundromat. Lots of washers and dryers. but the place was busy.There was an attendant on duty. You must get a card and load it with cash by using cash or personal credit or debit card. The card you load is free.You can purchase soap and dryer sheets from the attendant but, youmust pay cash or with a personal credit or debit. You cant use the preloaded wash card.Between 3 pm and 7 pm on Sunday was busy. At 7 pm, it died.Highly recommend the SpinXpress on SE Military.I believe the ad on Google said $1.25 washers. The price for a washer with a load capacity is $2.25. Check for bigger washers if you have huge loads. You come out cheaper than using several 2-load washers. The dryers are $1.75 and are huge.I would have given the place the wifi connection doesnt connect. They dont tell you the machine pay cards are reloadable. I pressed for a new card when mine ran out. I was charged $1. I guess if one gets a new card on the same visit, they charge you. How did they know it was me? I got my first card free, which is standard. Maybe the machine has a camera.7-16-23Worst experience so far at SpinXpress Laundry.*Parking lot had lots of trash. The center needs to hire maintenance or require those renting space to clean in front of their stores.*Put card to pay for washer. Told me to press start. Tried to change temp from cold to hot before I put my card to pay and couldnt. Told to pay. I paid with my card and then tried to change the temp. I was given the message that the washer is busy. Wonder if they are setting the machines so only cold water can be used because its cheaper.*The air-conditioner was running but, it washot inside. Are they turning up the air to save money since its a conserve energy day, or can businesses be fined? People were sweating.7-23-23I wanted to sit down to wait for my clothes to wash & dry. The line green sitting area is filthy. The staff needs to take some cleaner and deep clean them. They havent been cleaned in a good while. Some of the dirt probably wont come off but, at least theyll look somewhat better.You probably need to have them reupholstered. This will cost you a little. Once they are upholstered, make sure they are wiped down daily. Also, make sure no food crumbs are on them.I understand some people are slobs. They dont care because its not their home and/or they live in filth at home. Not very sanitary. Once winter comes and people get sick, keeping germs to a minimum is essential.I still give this location 4 stars when compared to other laundromats.

Comment: Update June 2023Now on days shift, we have returned. Happy to find it running a lot better, with more staff hired to keep up with a constant flow of customers. It is no longer a homeless hangout, they have gotten that under control.Just about all the machines were running, and I was happy to see staff going to each machine and thoroughly cleaning the outside of each one.Downside:I was told the homeless stole most of the laundry carts, there used to be an abundance of them, now its a fight to get the few that are left. They need to be replaced.Bathrooms are locked, but now the locks keep breaking and both genders have to share a bathroom with the employee standing guard. Also, there is no soap in the bathrooms.It has improved immensely since my initial post.Needed items:1. Remove coded locks from the bathroom to allow access.2. Maintain soap in the bathroom3. Obtain more laundry cartsKudos to Spinxpress for hearing my concerns and addressing them. Youre getting there. Changing my rating from 1 to a 4.Initial review:October 12 at 3:30 am.Place has gone downhill fast. My husband and I work deep nights and come out here on our days off after midnight. Parking lot is full of homeless and people living out of cars.It has steadily gotten worse each week.Now more and more machines are breaking down, on top of both bathrooms are marked out of order. Roaches are climbing out of the chairs, the carts for clothes are disappearing or broken. None of the TVs are turned on, so I sit here watching someone fix numerous bicycles next to my car in the parking lot.Nope, not going to coming back here again. Its nasty and unacceptable.Need management who cares to come back and run it like it used to be run.Half of the large capacity washers are broken. A total of 12 broken machines. Ive never seen that many broken at one time.I forgot to mention, prices went up one dollar and the place went down hill.For management: today is October 12 at 3:30 am.

Comment: You its understandable that machines break down no matter what the issues are. But people shouldnt judge on why a washer or dryer are broken. The baskets did disappear so yes its limited. And as far as the homeless goes. Well I prayer for all of us as being HOMLESS or living in a car with our family. But they make sure nothing bad happens to anyone out there. They are human also and deserve respect jus like someone living in a home. So again I go there a lot to wash and dry my laundry... Keep up the good work and maybe a possibility you should hire some HOMLESS people to give it a try. Homeless people are the cleanest people Ive meet personally....

Comment: The best laundromat Ive been to. Very well kept. The machines are clean, the dryers and washers are reasonably priced. They sell washing supplies with a good variety of brands. They also sell laundry bags. They offer free popcorn. Vending machines are also available. The attendant, Marcus, was very helpful and very informative of the washateria, took good care of the restroom for the customers. Explained the importance of letting him know when the restroom needed to be used because he would check it before allowing the next person to enter. I highly recommend this washateria. You will not be disappointed.

Comment: First I wanted to say Emily was really friendly and helpful. It was my first time here so I didnt really understand what to do. Instead of using coins, you simply load your money into a card! Washers range from $2-$8 depending on the size. The sizes are 2,4,6, and 8 loads which I guess is a dollar per load. The dryers are huge and pretty cheap. So far Ive seen them priced at $1.50 and $1.75. The largest ones were being used at the time of this review.

They have a good amount of washers & dryers including a nice selection of oversized machines. They’re open 24 hours which is fantastic because I can get in any time. The machines are all clean & in working order and the place itself is well kept and there is always an attendant readily available for assistance.

Comment: Very cool place. They have tvs and a few games, I believe, to pass time. The rides are a little expensive but, if youre opened minded, quite fun. You spin and spin and spin and get a little wet but dry off quickly. The different size rides accommodate people of different weights. Being 6 ft 240 lbs I was able to ride on the 4 basket ride comfortably. But they also have a 2 basket rides for smaller people and 6 basket rides for larger people, maybe even multiple riders. All in all worth the money!!Despite the recent reviews, was very clean and staff was excellent at maintaining it, but this was at the height of Covid.

Comment: So Ive been here a couple of times already and the girl usually working is nice and attentive. However today she was not there. Instead a tatted up man. As I walked in I noticed him right away. I went to the machine to add money to my card and he assisted me right away. I put my clothes to wash and I saw him assist two people in and out with there baskets that they were struggling with. I left and got back in time to transfer my clothes to the dryer and then leave again to eat. My daughter went back and folded our clothes and in those 15 to 20 mins he helped at least three more people. It was strictly out of kindness and Im pretty sure the people he helped were really appreciative of this gentleman. Excellent service!!!

Johnathan is a blessing to have here. Comment: Omg! finally! someone finally realized thar doing laundry is THE most arduous task on the planet...this place is big and clean and really we thought out...and so cool! nice comfy chairs, big folding tables, clean! and they are placed in the middle not on the edges...( you almost always have to go to the other side on the other side of the room! bathroom you can actually use and a service center where you can buy what you might have run out of or forgot! I expected the washers and dryers to be overpriced for providing so much comfort, but i think they might be even cheaper that nasty place down on Flores. And get this...ITS 24 hr!! my prayers are answered!! If havent yet used the machines but if they actually work well, i might actually might dread this task so much less! ill let youve know...and by the way, the gentleman running the store was masked and cleaning his little heart out!! i really like this place already! Its located in thMission Plaza Shopping Center, across SE Military Dr. same shopping center that the DollarTree and the Subway Sandwich shop are. This place is great!! And you can come whenever you choose! yay! Oh, check this out! They will come to you and pickup and drop off your folded clean laundry!! Who does that.?

Comment: Closed for no reason! I am an essential worker that works 24 hours a day at times. Along with at least an ⅛ of San Antonio I have a job to do that helps everyone in a big way and I have to be bathed with clean clothes EVERYDAY... I dont have a choice to take a day off just so I can do laundry..., I dont have the time to drive all over San Antonio to look for a laundromat thats open that says they are 24 hours and isnt open. Lord knows I have been to 6 others that are supposed to be open 24 hours and well they all closed early too.Yall have water and power there is no reason to be closed! So give another excuse besides being independently wealthy! Then on top of all of that you say; you have been there everyday... you may have, but you were closed early on 2 of those occasions, what happened to 24 hours? I think its more of someone who doesnt care about their job or maybe even just dosent care period. The last 2 times I was in there the attendant was asleep once and the other they were too busy talking or playing on their phone to clean up, there was trash all over and the floors looked as if they hadnt been swept in a week. You wanted to know well there it is... I have been trying to come in to your establishment 4 times this week and all but 1 you have been closed. The other I was told I couldnt even start my laundry because you were closing in 10 minutes and it wasnt even 8pm yet...Wing Daddys was still open why couldnt yall? They even stayed open till 11pm that night!

Comment: You get more bang for your buck here. I had at least eight loads of laundry to do and I did everything within 2 hours and spend only $45 for everything. They have great workers there it is very clean it is not very crowded and they have a deal where if you buy one of their laundry bags for $8 and you take it home, once that bag is filled you can take it back drop it off and theyll wash and fold your laundry for $15, not a bad deal.

Comment: Very clean, lots of electronic games to play while you wait (Nintendo switch, touch2play games, etc) nice lounge areas. I had a few questions about the laundry card, the attendant was very helpful. When she wasn’t helping guest she was wiping down all surfaces. Only negative I would say is the dryers have a minimum of $1.25 - 30 minutes. I use that anyways but some people may want less than 30 minutes.

If you need help the attendant is always there to help you. What I like about it. You use a card that you loaded money into the card. You can load up as much as 20 dollars. I love going there. Comment: I stopped by to do some laundry when our washing machine broke and I was super impressed. I was prepared to stay a few hours, but they offer a drop off service that saved me a huge amount of time. They offer next day service as default but also offer same day pickup for a few bucks more. To use the service you do need to buy their laundry bags upfront which isnt too expensive. Even with a new washer, I find myself dropping laundry off because its so damn convenient to have them fold it all. The place is always clean and the staff is great.

Comment: This place blows all the grubby laundromats out the water. Depending on the machine, itll cost you less than $8 to wash and less than $3 to dry. Youll need cash or card to get a reloadable laundry card to use on the machines or download their app and pay from your phone. Privacy seating is very comfortable. Vending machines accept cash and coins. No boring news on the TVs, which was a plus. I spent a total of $11 for three 2xloads using 3 washers and 3 dryers. Im in love with this new fancy washateria…and its 24 hrs! Most definitely coming back.Edit: prices
